Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.2.1 Pickups A. Service includes regular pickup and disposal of compactor contents three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday). Cardboard bale pickup will occur about three �mes per year. Approximately four tons of baled cardboard per (about 10 bales) will be ready for each of those pick ups. County owns/uses a heavy-duty high-density ver�cal baler to make the bales. B. The compactor must be picked up at 3:30 p.m. each day of service and returned to the Jus�ce Center by 6:00 p.m. the same day. C. Contractor must remove the compactor, dispose of contents, and set the trash compactor back in place. D. Contractor must respond to a service call within 4 hours, excluding holidays (as defined in sec�on 5.2.3). E. If the dumpster or the cardboard bales are blocked by a vehicle, the Contractor must get out of the truck and ring the bell. A guard will assist in having the vehicle removed. 5.2.2 Pricing A. Bid price must be on a per pickup basis. County will not consider prices quoted on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. B. The per pickup price must be all-inclusive, including the cost of trash compactor, installa�on, electrical hookup, and all costs and surcharges. 5.2.3 Holidays If a Monday or Wednesday pickup occurs on a holiday, the pickup may occur the following day. If a Saturday pickup occurs on a holiday, the pickup may occur on the Friday before. Pickups cannot occur on a Sunday. For the purpose of this IFB, holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
