Specifications include, but are not limited to: .0 The Contractor shall provide all required equipment, labor, materials, tools, debris disposal and incidentals necessary to mechanically broom sweep the designated areas. Any sweeping activity performed by the Contractor shall comply with MoDOT’s Engineering Policy Guide (EPG). The contractor will be responsible to meet the terms of this Contract. 2.0 The contractor shall confirm with the District Maintenance Superintendent any areas to be swept where there is doubt in the sweeping boundaries. 3.0 A summary of year, make and model of units to be used shall be provided in the ‘Equipment’ chart below. 3.1 The contractor shall have a back-up sweeper available within 48 hours of the breakdown of the in-use sweeper. 4.0 Worn brushes and brooms shall be replaced and adjusted to insure maximum efficiency. 4.1 Six (6) inches on the gutter brushes 4.2 As required on trash direction brush 4.3 Six (6) inches on the main broom These shall be minimum criteria and final determination shall be on the effectiveness of all brushes and brooms.
