The Missouri State Highway Patrol is seeking an easily portable, rechargeable voice hailer to address crowds in diverse situations. The voice hailer will allow for incident-specific messaging to be recorded and broadcast on the scene to de-escalate and manage situations safely. The Missouri State Highway Patrol has conducted research on various acoustic hailing devices and have discovered that the Superhailer is most efficient, portable, and versatile. The Superhailer also includes a built-in camera which can record time and GPS information. In addition, the built-in camera can record a crowd’s reaction to a specific message broadcasted and upon deliverance of the message. Furthermore, the Superhailer automatically adjusts decibel levels to protect the hearing of personnel and attendees in close proximity of the announcement.
