Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has secured a grant from the Walton Family Foundation to support the alignment of Missouri’s state accountability scoring system with indicators that are empirically linked to postsecondary and labor market success. Within the grant, Preis Consulting, LLC was identified as a direct partner to provide dissemination of study results and writing one or more policy briefs on the study. In addition, Preis will create a three-year workplan and timeline for the project, lead project implementation and management, and prepare annual reports for the grant funder addressing the goals, outputs, and outcomes of the project as outlined in the grant award contract, along with other tasks directed by the state agency in order to fulfil the purpose of the awarded grant. Therefore, Preis Consulting, LLC is the only source that can support the alignment of the state’s accountability scoring system due to the grant from the Walton Family Foundation. As a result, this meets the criteria as a single feasible source under section 34.044 RSMo.
