Specifications include, but are not limited to: - The structure must be fully enclosed to protect from wind, snow, rain, and cold temperatures. - The structure must have removable walls along the long edges so it can be opened up during warmer months to allow for air flow. - One short side must have a doorway opening that is 9 feet wide by 11 feet tall to allow a davit crane to pass in and out. - One side of the structure cannot be bolted to the floor surface as there is aluminum grating. Propose alternative securing measures for this side, as indicated in the schematic. o Please see attached schematic for this detail and others involving doorways in the structure and tie-down considerations. - Provide a MO Professional Engineer’s wet seal for the design. This is not required at the time of bid submission but will be required for project completion. Please provide a statement indicating compliance. - The structure must meet wind and snow loads of St. Charles, MO (115 mph wind load – 3 second burst and 20 psf, respectively). - The structure must be resistant to corrosion from hydrogen sulfide (H2S) through the use of noncorrosive material including aluminum, stainless steel, or powder coated metal. - Length is to be a minimum of 42 feet and a maximum of 44 feet – which ever allows for the least customization. - Width is to be a minimum of 18 feet and a maximum of 23.5 feet. - Clearance must be a minimum of 11 feet throughout interior to allow for the davit crane to reside within the structure. - Quote shall be all inclusive including freight and labor to install the structure. - Provide the expected lifetime of the frame and covering. - Provide the anticipated length of installation. - Structure may be secured to existing concrete, except where otherwise indicated on the figure.
