• Replace (49) 2x6 planks in the 4 areas listed below. o Area 1 (Figure 3) ▪ (6) 20-foot-long planks represented in the red diamonds ▪ (8) 10-foot-long planks represented in the green triangles o Area 2 (Figure 4) ▪ (7) 20-foot-long planks represented in the red diamonds ▪ (8) 10-foot-long planks represented in the green triangles o Area 3 (Figure 5) ▪ (3) 20-foot-long planks represented in the red diamonds ▪ (4) 10-foot-long planks represented in the green triangles o Area 4 (Figure 6) ▪ (4) 20-foot-long planks represented in the orange circles ▪ (1) 10-foot-long planks represented in the pink squares • Replace an additional 2x6 planks between Areas 1 and 2 to facilitate the installation of the broken 2x12 joist (Figure 3) o (5) 20-foot-long plank represented in the orange circles o (3) 10-foot-long planks represented in the pink squares • Replace all damaged deck joists (Figure 7) o (3) 2x12 x 13’-6” long pressure treated wood joist • The color of the planks shall match the existing color as closely as possible. The final color selection will be determined by the City. • Use #10 3 in. epoxy coated outdoor rust resistant screws. • The Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of all old materials, debris, and any leftover materials resulting from the work. All such materials shall be hauled away from the project site at the Contractor’s expense.
