Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide area maintenance services to various locations located within St. Charles County, Missouri. The contractor shall not use herbicide on the area. The contractor shall not perform contract services on the following holidays – New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, or Christmas. The contractor will agree that children or juveniles will not be allowed to accompany the contractor or contractor’s employees on the job site. The contractor shall provide mowing services once per three (3) weeks from April 1 through October 15 or as directed by the Department. The contractor shall mow all areas indicated on each area map as specified. a. In case of rain, the contractor shall mow on an alternate day that week. b. The areas shown on the maps shall be mowed at a maximum height of 4 inches. c. The contractor shall remove any trash in the mowing path prior to mowing. d. The contractor shall mow all road edges to a minimum width of ten (10) feet or as wooded edge allows. e. The contractor shall mow parking lots to a minimum width of ten (10) feet around outside edge of the parking lot or as wooded edge allows. f. Established grassy areas around parking lots, campgrounds, entrance ways, and signs will be maintained at current size.
