a. Provide approximately 55-65 (15 minutes) units (800-950 minutes per week)of Physical therapy services during the regular hours of the school day during the regular 169-day school calendar. b. Provide Physical Therapy to those students who qualify for Extended School Year services during the summer term, if determined necessary by IEP team. c. Provide services in compliance with acceptable professional standards of care. d. Require therapists to attend in-district training per district request either in person or via electronic means . e. Participate in the development of the student’s plan of care, including the special education process, development of IEPs, IEP goals/objectives, and participate in IEP meetings, when requested by the district. f. Conduct appropriate evaluation(s) of the student and submit a written report within three (3) weeks of such evaluation(s) to the process coordinator and or the Director of Special Services. g. Schedule work/therapy sessions with the Director of Special Services or his/her designee. h. Provide the number of authorized units of care as designated by the student’s IEP. i. Make initial contact with each student within three (3) working days of receiving a student referral to initiate services.
