The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Weather Service (NWS) issues watches, warnings, forecasts and advisories for the United States (US), its territories, adjacent waters and ocean areas. Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems are a central component for providing the essential uninterruptable supply of power that is needed to provide these critical functions.
The Government intends to issue a Firm-Fixed-Price type, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with a five year ordering period. The National Weather Service (NWS) Weather Forecast Offices (WFOs) within Central, Western, Southern and Eastern Regions, are seeking proposals for an assortment of replacement UPS batteries for the Eaton Powerware 9315-50, Mitsubishi 2033A 50KVA, Mitsubishi 2033A 75KVA, Mitsubishi 1133A 50KVA, Toshiba 4400F3F 50KVA, Toshiba 4400F3F 80KVA, Riello MHT 250 250KVA, APC Galaxy VS 50KVA, APC Symmetra PX 50KVA, and APC Symmetra PX 80KVA.
