• Library drive lanes and parking lots will have snow removed any time that snow accumulates 2 Inches or more. Initial snow removal may be billed at 1 inch of accumulation upon approval from Owner. • Library drive lanes and parking lots will be treated with sand, salt or some other traction or ice melting agent any time that there is ice accumulation of 0.125 inches. • Snow removal should occur before 7:30 a.m. at the libraries. The Administrative Headquarters will need to be completed before 7 a.m. due to an earlier start by staff. • If snow continues throughout the day, repeated visits may be requested by the branch libraries. • The library will notify the contractor if additional treatment is needed for iced pavement. • Each parking lot treatment will include salt, or, in some cases, and other ice melting agents. • Contractor will be responsible for removing excess salt, sand, and other traction agents and/or grit from plow scrapings on parking lots by April 30th.
