Specifications include, but are not limited to: It is the intention of this contract that the bidder(s) will provide equipment and manpower to respond to perform snow removal services within the specified area whenever the City crews begin snow and ice removal operations on public streets. Snow crews are to be dispatched at an accumulation of 2” of snow. At an accumulation of 1/8” of sleet, freezing rain or snow, chemical trucks will be dispatched. If snow or ice is forecasted for A.M. rush hour, sidewalks will be pre-salted with Potassium Chloride. Plowing will be done in a neat organized way so that every possible path on the sidewalk will be available. If wind rows are included they will be pushed tight and neatly to allow adequate pedestrian access and smooth flow of traffic. Refreezing: Sidewalks will be maintained should this occur.
