Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Successful Respondent’s trucks shall be fully equipped with a plow and spreader box. The Respondent should have modern equipment designed to remove snow and place deicer on to the surface of the parking lots/garages. The Respondent must have designated backup equipment ready. All labor, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish these tasks shall be provided by the Successful Respondent. 5.6 General Snow Removal: Remove accumulated snow to permit safe passage to and from County facilities. 5.6.1 Snow and Ice shall be removed from the designated traffic areas of the parking lots by 6:00am on all workdays and any other day that the operational facilities must be accessible. 5.6.2 The Successful Respondent shall load, transport, and properly dispose of snow piles that interfere with traffic and parking. 5.6.3 The Successful Respondent shall be responsible for repairs and/or replacement of all sod, shrubs, curbing, fixtures, or any other item that is damaged by snow and ice removal operations. All repairs and/or replacements MUST BE completed no later than May 15th of the following year.
