Specifications include, but are not limited to: Development of forward-looking smart grid strategies. Indicate and evaluate the potential opportunities that exist for Columbias unique operating characteristics. Work with City of Columbias Water and Light Department (CWLD) to develop smart grid strategies using a number of key elements, including: Review of the desired goals that would come from a smart grid implementation Review of the case for change, driver for change and overall value proposition Review potential smart grid programs with Columbia Water and Light staff and identify key sources of value proposition Identify potential sources of system gaps and opportunities that could support a smart grid vision Conduct a kick off strategic visioning session with the CWLD team to review elements of the strategy and overall market dynamics.
