The Contractor shall perform burner maintenance, including cleaning the burner blast tube and combustion head, removing carbon deposits and soot buildup, and ensuring there are no obstructions in the burner nozzle or fuel line. The Contractor shall check and clean the fuel nozzle and inspect and clean the ignition electrodes. The Contractor shall inspect combustion and cooling fans, verify proper operation, and check the condition and tension of all V-belts. The Contractor shall inspect the control panel, including all indicator lights, timers, switches, and safety interlocks, to ensure proper function. The Contractor shall inspect the fuel delivery system, including gas lines and filters. Filters shall be replaced if dirty, and all hoses shall be checked for leaks, wear, or cracking. The Contractor shall clean the photo-resistor and/or flame sensor to maintain accurate flame detection and safe operation. The Contractor shall perform lubrication of hinges, mechanical linkages, and latches, as applicable. Sliding and rotating components shall be greased using heat-resistant lubricant as required. The Contractor shall conduct a general visual inspection of the incinerator, checking for corrosion, damage to exterior surfaces, wear on seals and gaskets, and any abnormal noise or odor during startup and shutdown procedures.
