Specifications include, but are not limited to: Jefferson County is soliciting bids for (1) body change over, (1) Boss Rotary Screw Compressor to replace an outdated Van Guard system, and replacement of old emergency lighting with new updated emergency lighting for the use by the Jefferson County Public Works Department. Jefferson County purchased a new truck chassis with the following specifications: Make: Freightliner Chassis Type: Chassis Cab Rear Axle Type: DRW Fuel Type: Diesel GVWR: 33,000 Model: M2-106 Cab Type: Crew Drivetrain: 4x2 Transmission Type: Auto Year: 2024 Cab to Axle: 108 Engine Size: 6.7 Wheelbase: 221 The vendor will be required to provide the following services: • 1- Body Change Over: Remove the 60” CA, KC-style service body from existing chassis. (2012 Terrastar International VIN# 1HTJSSKK1DH236210). Install the old body onto the new Chassis. Provide new brackets and hardware as necessary to fasten the old body to the new chassis. All lights will be FMVSS108 upon completion. • The new Freightliner chassis has a higher frame height than that on the Terrastar. The rear platform must remain at the same height as the previous installation. This will require the vendor to make necessary modifications to provide for a “step-up” into the body. • Provide a new Boss Rotary Screw Compressor 185 BCAN PTO Driven Air Compressor System. The compressor shall be a Spicer 1310 driveline series coupled to rotary screw compressor mounted on street side. Provide in-cab electronic controls. The compressor controls shall be programming to integrate the system with chassis ECM to control speed on demand and utilize all chassis safety parameters. • Provide a new oil cooler and mount it to the front of the service body. The body will have to be reinforced for mounting the oil cooler. Deliver the system fully-functional and plumbed to existing FRL and hose reel. Fill the unit with proprietary oil and ensue that it is working properly. • Driveline weld, align, balance • ECM Programming
