Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The Contractor’s services shall include plowing and piling of snow from parking lots, driveways, and pedestrian areas. Contractor shall provide de-icing agents as described in exhibit A. Agents will be applied in amounts and manner as specified by material manufacturer. If conditions require additional de-icing agent, it shall be applied at County’s request b. The Contractor must dispatch a snow removal crew at the request of the County. This crew shall consist of at least one (1) responsible representative with necessary equipment and qualified operator (s). c. The Contractor shall provide all snow and/or ice removal services prior to 6:30 am, unless weather conditions do not allow for such. d. The Contractor must furnish all material, labor, and equipment necessary to perform the services required. e. The Contractor shall not use equipment which may cause damage to parking lots, driveways, parking structures, and/or sidewalks. f. The Contractor shall use runner or mushroom style shoes on all plow blades g. Trucks used for plowing shall not exceed 20,000 lbs. GVWR. h. The Contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the parking lots, driveways, parking structures, sidewalks, and/or other property as a result of the Contractor’s negligence. The Contractor shall repair or pay, at the County’s option to repair any damage.
