Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), St. Louis District is seeking bids from vendors who can provide preventative maintenance, modifications/repairs, and relocation of Road Weather Information Systems (RWIS) sites within the district. The St. Louis District geographic area covers the City of St. Louis and four counties (St. Louis, St. Charles, Jefferson, and Franklin County). The St. Louis district has a total of 12 RWIS systems located throughout the district, of which at least (2)systems currently have error indicators. The objective is to get all systems fully functional and remotely communicating for winter operations by December 15th of the current calendar year. Any relocation of existing RWIS stations that maybe needed to acquire better data collection would be reserved for Spring/Summer of the following calendar year after winter operations has ceased. All RWIS sites are hosted on the Weather Sentry DTN web portal.
