Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) has historically developed and maintained a Regional Aviation System Plan for the Kansas City region, preparing updates approximately every five years. The last Regional Aviation System Plan update was completed in 2005. The MARC plan needs to be updated in order to reflect current conditions and future needs for the regional aviation system. The MARC Regional Aviation System Plan update shall identify and explore substantive aviation issues from a regional, systems perspective and, to the extent possible, incorporate the goals and objectives established in the Policy Framework for MARCs long-range transportation plan, Transportation Outlook 2040.
