Scope of Work The City is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the installation of piped drainage underneath a sidewalk. The work shall include: • Removal, or saw cuts, of sidewalk slabs, and proper disposal. • Installation of new underground piping beneath the adjacent sidewalk that connects via “boot” to downspouts, and directs water to a suitable discharge point, such as a storm sewer or daylight. • Restoration of disturbed surfaces, including concrete and landscaping. Specifications • Underground piping: [e.g., Schedule 40 PVC or SDR-35, minimum 4" diameter, with proper slope and cleanouts if required]. • All work must comply with local stormwater and building codes. • Contractor is responsible for all permits, inspections, and utility locates.
