Material Specifications for Pavillion Structure • A new 20' x 34' shade structure (or nearest standard-sized structure based on manufacturer) is preferred. • The pavilion shall be a gable-style rectangular structure with an 8' eave height. All steel structural components must be as follows: o Hollow tubing to be A500 structural steel o Columns to be a minimum 3/16" wall thickness o Base plate to be a minimum ¾" thick A36 steel • All columns to be surface mount. Concrete anchors to be included and must meet OSHA Steel Erection Standard 29 CFR 1926.755 (a)(1). • All fasteners to be A325 or A563 structural grade, galvanized, hidden or color matched. • All fasteners must be able to be completely sealed inside tubing. • All bolts included in the engineer-stamped design must be installed. No open holes will be allowed. • Structure must require no on-site welding. • All steel must be shotblasted to near white before painting. Steel components must be rich epoxy primed to .7-.9 mil thickness then powder coated with TGIC polyester powder to minimum final thickness of 8 to 12 mils including the clear coat. Color to be: GRAY. • Roof to have a 4/12 pitch. • Roof to be 24 gauge standing seam metal panels. Roof color must be MATTE BLACK. Standing seam roof surface must be coated with Kynar 500. Roof trim including fascia wrap must be a minimum of 24 gauge galvalume metal, color matched to roof, and Kynar 500 coated. • The subroof/ceiling to be 2x6 tongue and groove #1 SYP wood plank. • Pavilion shall not include guttering or downspouts
