This Project is to replace two (2) corrosive liquid storage tanks with SYNDER Industries, Model 5330000N43 tanks. These storage tanks serve winter storm operations at the District 3 Transportation Maintenance Facility which is located at 16099 Ruck Road, Ballwin, Missouri 63021. The contractor is to make all necessary arrangements for removal of existing tanks from concrete pad, placement, and vertical positioning of new tanks onto concrete pad, with new tank fittings and connections required per the attached pictures (Attachments A – E). All materials used in the set-up of the storage tanks must be suitable for use in a salt corrosive environment. 5.1.2 The two tanks to be replaced are the oldest tanks at District 3. The Transportation Department will dispose of the original tanks after contractor has removed them from concrete pad and set aside.
