This project will provide a complete AV system upgrade for Elliot Student Union room 237 A/B (capacity 270 people when combined, A is 41’ 4” x 41’ 4”, B is 38’ 7” x 50’ 10”) to support presentations, hybrid conferencing, and frequent high-capacity campus events in accordance with University proposed layout. The system must function independently in each room or as a combined space when the partition is open, with Crestron control and partition sensing to handle room states automatically. The space will be equipped with dual Epson laser projectors and motorized screens for visual content, a Crestron control system with 10” touch panels, and AV-over-IP infrastructure for reliable signal routing. Video conferencing will be supported by a Sony A12 camera and a Shure wireless microphone system, including handheld and lavalier options. Audio will be processed through a Biamp DSP and speaker system to ensure clear, consistent coverage throughout the rooms. Connectivity will be available through HDMI/USB wall plates for user devices and XLR wall plates to accommodate external audio mixers. Wireless presentation will be enabled via Crestron AirMedia. All AV components will route through an owner-furnished (OFE) PC to streamline conferencing functions. Equipment, including OFE, will be housed in an AV rack with adequate unit space, cooling, power management, and all necessary accessories. The final system must include full installation, Crestron programming aligned with university standards, and a three-year support package with 24/7/365 availability and on-site response within 24 hours of any reported outage. All additional background hardware and accessories required to ensure proper functionality and system performance must be included in the proposal. The listed equipment is not exhaustive and should not be considered the only components necessary to deliver a complete, operational AV system.
