Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, State Public Health Laboratory desires to establish a contract for virus testing materials via a single feasible source with Qiagen, LLC. The MSPHL uses Qiagen instrumentation across a number of testing areas including, but not limited to viral respiratory surveillance, bioterrorism testing, tuberculosis drug resistance testing, newborn screening, and new/emerging diseases. These instruments require the use of Qiagen reagent kits and supplies. The requested Qiagen reagents and supplies, the assays that employ the use of these products and the equipment used in conjunction with the Qiagen virus testing materials has been validated by the MSPH, and is solely manufactured and sold by Qiagen, LLC. Therefore, the Qiagen virus testing materials qualify as a single feasible source.
