Specifications include, but are not limited to: audit KCPS’s financial records for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024, with the option of auditing its financial records for each of the two (2) subsequent fiscal years. These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and standards for financial audits contained in Government Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States. Federal programs audits are to be performed in accordance with the provisions of OMB Circular A-133 and Government Auditing Standards. Other audit requirements are in compliance with State of Missouri Statutes, Chapter 67 and the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and include: Compliance with Budgetary requirements Compliance with attendance requirements Compliance with transportation of pupils’ requirements Disclosures required on the Schedule of Selected Statistics Disclosures required on the Schedule of Transportation Costs
