The contractor shall print tax stamps as specified below: Artwork – The contractor shall supply all artwork. Paper – The tax stamps shall be produced on contractor-furnished, unique, safety tinted, and mill controlled paper that is of sufficient strength to not tear or wrinkle and that is compatible with Red Stamp or Meyercord tax stamp application equipment. The state agency shall determine that final paper color in consultation with the contractor. The safety tint shall be printed on the paper base, shall fluoresce under UV light, and shall transfer with the tax stamp upon application. Tax Stamp Type – The tax stamps must be heat applied tax stamps, or state agency approved equal, which shall consist of five impressions or layers, including safety tinted lettering, which shall appear on the face of the stamps as well as on the paper between stamps. The tax stamps must be genuine layer-built decal tax stamps of state agency approved quality, The tax stamps must adhere to glass, cellophane, polypropylene, tinfoil, and paper.
