The City of Belton, Missouri is accepting bids for renovations to be completed in the evidence room to include wall construction, ventilation, door and lock installation and drop ceiling repair. • Construction of a 12 ft wall (2x6 construction) extending up 15 ft and connecting into the truss style roof. • Construction of a 15ft wall (2x6 construction) extending up 15 ft and connecting into the truss style roof. • Installation of a heavy-duty steel door with electronic “key card” locking mechanism on the 12 ft wall. • Drywall finishing and painting of listed walls. • Installation of a ventilation system capable of evacuating fumes / particles from the room through a cinder block style wall. • Repair / replacement of drop-style ceiling and panels at the entry to the evidence room. • Replacement of 15 CFL fixtures with energy efficient LED fixtures. • Must be city-licensed and insured. Permits and inspections are required.
