Work with hospitals, other prenatal and postpartum care sites, and maternal care providers and accelerate maternal morbidity and mortality prevention efforts in Missouri. Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs) are state networks of team working to improve the quality of care for mothers and babies. PQC members identify health care processes that need to be improved and use evidence-based or evidence-informed methods to make rapid, population-based changes. The Missouri Hospital Association (MHA) is the only feasible source to provide Perinatal Quality Collaboratives because they are the only federally recognized state hospital organization in Missouri and is the only organization that represents all licensed Missouri hospitals.
