The City of O’Fallon, Missouri (“City”) is accepting sealed bids for patrol ballistic rifle shields for the O’Fallon Police Department FOB destination to 1019 Bryan Road, O’Fallon MO 63366 per the minimum requirements below. The items bid must meet or exceed all specifications listed. The City reserves the right to change order quantities by increasing or decreasing the quantities listed below. Vendors may bid more than one shield if they meet the minimum requirements. The following requirement must be met by the selected vendor: • Shields must be manufactured or produced in the United States – compliant with the Buy American Act, with preference given to Missouri produced/manufactured products. GENERAL INFOMRATION: • Minimum requirements for Patrol Ballistic Rifle Shields o Minimum of Level III armor rating o Meets or exceeds NIJ standards o Under 21 pounds total weight ▪ Preference to lighter weight shields if armor rating is equal o With 4” x 6” Clear Ballistic Viewpoint, the viewpoint must be ballistic rated o Minimum 20-inch x 30-inch or equivalent dimensions o Double Cutout o Tri-Grip angled handle or equivalent o Reflective POLICE in white on front of shield o Carrying bag for shield
