Contractor Duties and Responsibilities 5.3.1 Provide programmatic oversight to the Sexual Health Clinic program. 5.3.2 Provide treatment to patients seeking services in the Sexual Health Clinic that is concordant with current evidence based best practices and national treatment guidelines. A. Order tests, analyses, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition B. Medication refills C. Clinical data review, including the interpretation of diagnostic studies 5.3.3 Maintain current, accurate and timely medical services documentation and proficiency in the use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) per County policy i Any Contractor providing services must complete any required training and certification for County’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. ii County currently contracts with Veradigm, Inc., formerly known as AllScripts Healthcare, LLC. iii Beginning July 2025, County will begin implementing a transition to Epic Systems. County staff and Contractors will be required to complete training and verification to gain appropriate system access. Contracted Contractors unable to receive the necessary credentialing will need to be removed and replaced immediately. iv Document services and bill consistent with commonly accepted documentation standards for the level of service provided v This includes the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Medical Records Documentation Requirements; American Academy of Family Physicians; American Medical Association; and Contractor manuals issued by any health insurance Contractors of which County is considered in-network. vi Comply with billing and documentation requirements of grant programs in which County participates. 5.3.4 Testify, relative to services rendered under the terms of the contract, in response to a subpoena properly issued from any court 5.3.5 Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities...
