Specifications include, but are not limited to: A) The 5th floor PCT work shall consist of: 1) Renovate existing rooms T5107 and T5107A (offices) to create a new On-Call room and new toilet/shower room. (Alternate 1) 2) Demolish walls of existing room T5001B (consult) to create a hall passage. 3) Install a new double egress door at the front of the inpatient unit in Corridor TC5201 to include hardware/systems per specifications. 4) Install a new door in Corridor TC500 to include hardware/systems per specifications. 5) Mechanical work shall consist of minor rework pf existing supply/return air systems. Tying into existing exhaust. (Alternate 1) 6) Electrical work shall consist of minor rework of existing circuits and devices. B) The 7th floor PCT work shall consist of: 1) Demolition work shall include removal of 2 double egress doors in corridor TC 7202B. 2) Adding the appropriate door hardware / access control / HUGS security to the doors on the floor to allow the 30-bed inpatient unit to be configured in 3 different security configurations to allow adult inpatient overflow. The final configuration will allow the unit to be divided into 3 different adult overflow conditions. i. 0 adult bed overflow utilization, 30 pediatric bed utilization ii. 10 adult bed overflow bed, 20 pediatric bed utilization iii. 18 adult bed overflow bed, 12 pediatric bed utilization iv. 30 adult bed overflow bed, 0 pediatric bed utilization 3) Upgrade existing door hardware/systems in Corridor TC7001 to specifications. 4) Adding card readers and HUGS security system to existing doors along perimeter of overflow areas in existing corridors as shown on architectural plan. 5) Installing new door in corridor TC7201, TC7202A, TC7203A, TC7203B, T7258, and TS7003 to include hardware/systems per specifications. 6) Electrical work shall consist of supplying power to the area for the new devices. C) Adding new smoke detection to the entire 7th floor. Maximum (2) patient rooms allowed to be taken out of service at one time. CP222742 1) Renovate existing area on the east side of the building to create a new suite of rooms to serve as the Well baby Nursery. 2) Demolish various walls, ceilings, floor finishes to accommodate new work. 3) Mechanical work shall consist of reworking existing supply/return air systems. Tying into existing exhaust. 4) Plumbing work shall consist of tying into existing domestic hot/cold water lines and tying into existing sanitary waste and vent lines to serve new fixtures. Existing medical gases will be extended to serve the nursery. 5) Electrical work shall consist of providing new circuits and devices to serve the space. 6) New fire alarm devices will be tied into the existing system. 7) The existing sprinkler system will be modified to meet the new room configuration. 8) New data drops will be provided as shown in the documents. New nurse call devices will be provided and tied into the existing system. New card access points will be provided and tied into the existing system.
