St. Louis Development Corporation (“SLDC”) seeks proposals from experienced legal advocacy firms or organizations to develop and implement legal strategies and programs that support residents and communities in preventing vacancy and rehabilitating vacant properties. The selected entity will develop and implement legal strategies and programs to increase occupancy and reduce abandonment or vacancy. Respondents should have demonstrated expertise in property law, community advocacy, and real estate litigation, and will provide one or more of the following services: A. Legal interventions to promote neighborhood safety, stabilization, and investment, through representation of eligible neighborhood groups in the following legal actions: ● Actions pursuant to RSMo. § 441.500 et seq .(Receivership); ● Actions pursuant to RSMo. § 447.620 et seq. (Missouri Abandoned Housing Act); ● Actions pursuant to RSMo. § 82.1025 - § 82.1027 et seq. (Statutory Nuisance); ● Actions pursuant to RSMo. § 89.491 (Zoning Enforcement); ● Actions pursuant to common law nuisance;
