Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County is seeking a Contractor relocation service to move employees, items and equipment to the St Charles County Emergency Operations Center. For purposes of scope identification, please refer to the attached details. All executed work must meet the following specifications: The contractor will provide the necessary quantity of crates to package up items at the various locations identified for County employees to pack. These crates, or other items to be packed for transport, must be delivered at a minimum of 1 week prior to the scheduled move date. Items anticipated for the move are listed in the attached exhibits 1, 2 & 3 labeled for each Group moving (i.e. Emergency Management, Radio Communications, Emergency Communications). The contractor will supply the necessary manpower to accomplish the transportation of all items to be relocated in an efficient manner to minimize employee down-time. One trip from the pick-up site to the move-to site should be achieved. The contractor must ensure all items marked for relocation will be moved to the new location and identified at their move-to location. County will provide move labels to assist in the process with room and location number clearly labeled for each item. Signage will also be provided to assist in identifying areas associated with the move effort. The Contractor is responsible for disassembling all knock-down shelving and reassembling as noted per the layout provided at the new location. Contractor will be responsible for picking up all crates, carts and move materials used in the effort within 1-week of moving staff into the new location. Any carts, dollies or transportation used during the move, but not packed with items., will not be left on-site. Only acceptable items left will contain the employee’s packed items.
