2.1.1 The vendor shall provide MoDOT-Approved Engineering, Design and Construction Services for Bridge, Culvert and other County Road and Bridge Rehabilitation Projects, which meets or exceeds the specifications contained in this document. 2.1.2 This RFQ shall be considered a Qualified Vendors List and multiple vendors shall be accepted. 2.1.3 Clay County, Missouri is requesting the services of a consulting engineering firm to perform professional services for bridge and box culvert replacement and rehabilitation projects as further defined below. 1. If your firm would like to be considered for these consulting services, you may submit your Statement of Qualifications in the format stated in Section 2.2 including an Executive Summary / Letter of Interest to Clay County. a. Executive Summary / Letter of interest should be limited to no more than 3 pages (a page is defined as 8-1/2 inches x 11 inches and printed on a single side). 2. The proposal should include: a. project team and experience of those individuals (resumes do not count towards 3-page limit), b. similar projects your firm has recently completed or which are now active, and any other information which might help us in the selection process. c. All other information as requested in Section 2.2. 3. The County plans to make their selection(s) from the submitted proposals and/or interviews following receipt of proposals. 2.1.4 It is required that your firm’s Statement of Qualification (RSMo 8.285 through 8.291) and Affidavit of Compliance with the federal work authorization program along with a copy of your firm’s E-Verify Memorandum of Understanding (15CSR 60-15.020) be submitted with your Letter of Interest. 1. These documents are not included in the total page count limit. 2.1.5 Clay County’s basic goals for these projects are as follows: 1. Total bridge or box culvert replacement or rehabilitation 2. Cost constrained structure 3. Minimal long-term maintenance 4. Minimal right-of-way acquisition 5. Eligibility for BRO and/or Soft Match funding (bridges)
