Parkway is defining network detection and response (NDR) as the following: a category of cybersecurity solutions and practices that focus on monitoring, identifying, and responding to threats and malicious activities within a computer network. NDR systems are designed to detect and analyze various network behaviors, anomalies, and security events in real-time to provide proactive threat detection and response capabilities. NDR solutions should employ a combination of advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms, and threat intelligence to collect and analyze network traffic, logs, and other relevant data sources. By continuously monitoring network activities, these systems can identify patterns indicative of malicious activities, such as network intrusions, data exfiltration, malware infections, or unauthorized access attempts. 1. 24/7 security operations center (SOC) monitoring 2.
