Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall furnish all parts, labor, equipment and materials needed to repair existing University owned refrigerated equipment as listed herein along with any new items purchased. 2.2 The contractor must accept service calls seven (7) days per week, 24 hours per day for all refrigerated equipment items and shall respond to such calls within three (3) hours to restore the equipment to proper working order if deemed an emergency repair. Service calls for refrigerated equipment items considered non-emergency shall normally be placed during University business hours and the contractor shall respond to such calls within 24 hours, excluding Saturday, Sunday, and the following holidays: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. 2.2.1 All repairs on equipment items shall be performed during normal business hours unless the University determines the repair to be an emergency as stated herein. If an equipment item requires emergency repair during other than normal business hours, the contractor shall be required to respond within three (3) hours and the University shall compensate the contractor in accordance with the hourly rate quoted for service calls performed after normal business hours. 2.2.2 Service calls must be performed on a "per hour" basis for one person with a fully equipped service truck. 2.2.3 The contractor shall charge for actual repair time only. Travel time will not be reimbursed by the University.
