Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.2.1The contractor shall allow at least five (5) days between each mowing and trimming. The contractor shall understand and agree that in the event there are extended periods of time when conditions are such that the lawns are not growing, the Department will not request services. a. The contractor shall mow and trim the lawn area indicated within the black lines indicated on Attachment2. b. The contractor shall respond to the request for lawn care services within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the request from the designated Department representative.c. The contractor shall provide lawn care services on days and times mutually agreed upon by the designated Department r epresentative and the contractor.2.2.2The contractor shall provide lawn care services in a professional manner in accordance with acceptable professional practices and the highest standards appropriate to promote a healthy lawn and to minimize damage to trees, shrubs, other desired plants, and surrounding property. 2.2.3The contractor shall mow and string trim all lawns for the first time in the spring to two and a half (2 ½) inches in height. The contractor shall mow and string trim all lawns to three (3) inches in height thereafter.2.2.4The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash, debris, and limbs on the lawn prior to mowing. 2.2.5The contractor shall execute mower turns at different locations on the lawn to minimize bare spots in the lawn.
