Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.2.1The contractor shall allow at least five (5) days between each mowing and trimming.The contractor shall understand and agree that inthe event there are extended periods of time when conditions are such that the lawnsare not growing, the Departmentwill not request services. a.The contractor shall mow and trim the lawnarea indicated within the blacklines indicatedon Attachment2.b.The contractor shall respond to the request for lawn careservices within seventy-two (72) hours of receiving the request from the designated Departmentrepresentative.c.The contractor shall provide lawn care services on days and times mutuallyagreed upon by the designatedDepartmentrepresentativeand the contractor.2.2.2The contractor shall provide lawn care servicesin a professional manner in accordance with acceptable professional practices and the highest standards appropriate to promote a healthy lawn and to minimize damage to trees, shrubs, other desired plants, and surrounding property.2.2.3The contractor shall mow and string trim all lawns for the first time in the spring to two and a half (2 ½) inches in height. The contractor shall mow and string trim all lawns to three (3) inches in height thereafter.2.2.4The contractor shall remove and properly dispose of all trash, debris, and limbs on the lawn prior to mowing.2.2.5The contractor shall execute mower turns at different locations on the lawn to minimize bare spots in the lawn.
