The County is seeking a Contractor to install plumbing at the St Charles County Klondike Park Maintenance Office Building. All executed work must meet the following specifications: The Contractor will be provided a PDF of drawings to bid from. Drawings will have County recommendations for locations, but local codes as well as will dictate actual location. Plans to be designed to St Charles County Code as well as Augusta Fire Code. All copper piping to be joined using lead-free solder, pro-press and shark-bite style fittings are not permitted. The Contractor shall provide and install metal flashing for all PVC pipe penetrations per fire code. The Contractor shall provide and install Bradford White Aerotherm series Heat Pump Model RE2H50R10B water heater, or equivalent replacement, with a ¾” ball valve in the cold and hot water lines. Pressure and temperature valve to run to floor per code. Contractor to install thermal expansion tank sized appropriately for building. Thermal expansion tank shall have shut off valve installed for future replacement. Electrical connection to be done by electrical contractor. The Contractor shall connect to the original 1” Black PVC line that was disconnected from the double wide office space and bury said water line 36” in depth. All water supply lines shall be copper pipe and shut off or stop valves installed shall be ¼ turn ball valves. The Contractor shall provide and install toilet, sink, faucet, SS ADA grab bars and polished SS mirror in bathroom. Contractor to provide flush-o-meter for toilet with required spuds. Contractor to provide all parts for supply and drain of sink and faucet. Contractor to supply American Standard bathroom fixtures and their installation is to meet ADA guidelines. Including grab bars. The Contractor shall be responsible for sealing all fire penetrations from copper lines. Mechanical contractor will flash PVC pipe penetrations if pipe is already installed mechanical contractor will leave flashing on site for plumber to install if mechanical contractor is off site. The Contractor is to provide and install all PVC piping for waste and vent runs in building. Contractor shall penetrate metal roof of building and seal plumbing vent to maintain a watertight building. The Contractor is to provide and install one frost-proof exterior hose spicket as noted on the drawing/plan of the exterior wall, the contractor shall provide a hose spicket inside of the utility closet. The Contractor is to provide and install one model 28 Big Tub slop sink with hot and coldwater supply and one eye wash station model (Lukar Emergency Shower Eye Wash Station) as noted on plan. The Contractor is to provide a plumbing rough in in the break area for a kitchen sink base, sink, and faucet. County will provide sink base with drain and faucet for contractor to connect faucet and drain. Contractor shall provide all parts to complete connections of supply and drain. No disposal will be installed.
