Specifications include, but are not limited to: DAILY: The contractor shall perform the following daily task five (5) days each week, Monday through Friday, excluding state, federal holidays and schedule days off, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for the areas of the buildings and /or the building requiring daily tasks: a. During periods of inclement weather such as snow, mop all hard surface floors, and remove sand, soot, and salts from the building vestibules. After the inclement weather ends, sweep all exterior plazas or entrances, as directed by the state agency.; b. Empty all waste/trash containers. Replace plastic liners when soiled.; c. Any and all other related and contingent miscellaneous janitorial cleaning duties requested by the state agency.; d. Clean Janitorial closets after completion of the daily task and before exiting the building. No water is to be left in mop buckets overnight.; e. Report any damage. ; WEEKLY: The contractor shall perform the following tasks at least one (1) time per week in common use areas: a. Wipe all plastic chairs, when soiled.; b. Damp mop all finished floors.; c. Thoroughly vacuum all carpeted areas from wall to wall.; d. Thoroughly vacuum all entrance mats.; e. Thoroughly sweep all hard surfaces including, but not limited to, floors, stairs, and landings using brooms or dust mops. ; BI-MONTHLY: The contractor shall perform the following tasks two (2) time per month (i.e. monthly): a. Clean all interior glass surfaces, excluding both sides of exterior windows.; b. Clean/dust all venetian/mini-blinds.; c. Clean light fixtures, as needed, to remove insects, dirt, etc., on the fixtures.; d. Clean/vacuum all vents, diffusers, and registers.; e. Clean all baseboards.
