Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.3.1 General License Office and Location Requirements – The license office must: a. Be located within the geographic location specified in Attachment 1; b. Be furnished and operated by the contractor c. Be clean, professional, organized, smoke-free, and adequately heated and air conditioned. With the exception of service animals, animals shall be prohibited on license office premises; d. Comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) and Missouri Human Rights Act, and all regulations promulgated thereunder (additional information can be found in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Title 28, Parts 35 and 36); e. Have access to a restroom (public or non-public) with adequate plumbing. A public restroom within the license office facility that is ADAAA compliant is preferred; f. Be in a location that is safe and easy to find and that is not a personal residence; g. Be owned, leased, or rented by the contractor; h. Provide access for delivery of inventory by a semi-tractor or trailer or other large truck; and i. Provide suitable and sufficient parking for customers within the immediate proximity of the license office and which is ADAAA compliant and easy to access.
