The contractor shall provide intrastate process server services for the Department of Social Services, Family Support Division, Child Support Program (hereinafter referred to as “state agency”) within the State of Missouri; The contractor shall assist the state agency in the serving of legal process documents to custodial and non-custodial parents, alleged parents, other individuals, and employers designated by the state agency. The contractor shall understand and agree that the Attorney General’s Office (hereinafter referred to as the AGO) will use the contracted services outlined herein when performing child support judicial actions. The contractor shall provide services on an as needed, if needed basis. The contractor must provide sufficient details on the CS-605 and Summons to allow the state agency, AGO, or PAO to determine the exact nature of the service so that a determination can be made regarding sufficiency of service. The contractor must attempt oral verification of the identity of the individual to be served. If the individual to be served will not provide oral verification, then visual verification must be ascertained in a face-to-face encounter with the individual to be served.
