Specifications include, but are not limited to:The contract will be used by the College’s Buildings and Grounds department at the Cosand Center, Forest Park, Florissant Valley, Meramec and Wildwood campuses to provide bulk road salt and calcium chloride pellets as needed. Delivery is as ordered based on weather conditions, and should be made in a timely manner. Failure to comply gives the College the right to purchase product from vendors not on this contract as dictated by emergency conditions. The purchasing history for the past two fiscal years is: FY 2015 FY2016 Calcium Chloride Pellets 41,000 pounds 11,000 pounds Bulk Road Salt (tons) 279 tons 75 tons Should an alternate brand/model be offered in bid, complete written specifications, MSDS Safety Data Sheets and application instructions must accompany the bid response or the bid may be disqualified. The College reserves the right to make sole determination of whether any alternate offered in bid meets specifications. This bid will be awarded on a section-by-section or all-or-nothing basis whichever is in the best interest of the College. Partial bids will be accepted. The award may be made to multiple bidders with no guaranteed dollar amount to any one vendor.
