The contractor shall develop and deliver a program that uses mentoring, tutoring, and building community leadership to strengthen identity, build trust, and cultivate meaningful connections within school communities which ultimately support the success and longevity of black male educators in the education system for the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in accordance with the provisions and requirements stated herein and to the sole satisfaction of the state agency. Per House Bill 2, Section 2.067, For a non-profit organization located in any city with more than four hundred thousand inhabitants and located in more than one county that is committed to sustaining and retaining black male educators by fostering engagement beyond the classroom; this program emphasizes mentorship, tutoring, and community leadership as essential tools to strengthen identity, build trust, and cultivate meaningful connections within school communities, ultimately supporting the success and longevity of black male educators in the education system.
