Specifications include, but are not limited to: Heman Park Parking Lot and Trail Crack Sealing - Crack Sealing - Straight Line and Singular Cracks - Blow out all joints with a high velocity blower and remove debris with steel bristle broom or other crack cleaning equipment. Upon completion of crack preparation, fill cracks with Right Pointe Parking Lot Sealant (PLS) rubberized hot pour elastic crack sealer. Immediately follow with a finish tool to level the material in a narrow band across the cracks. PLS shall be heated in a direct fire kettle to a pouring temperature of 380 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit per manufacturers specified recommendation. Note: Finished sealant will vary from being level to being recessed approximately/ inch to reduce the possibility of shoving during snowplow operations. Seal Coating - One (1) coat squeegee and one (1) coat spray - Clean pavement with high velocity air blowers used in conjunction with stiff brooms. Seal pavement with two (2) coats of high solids MAC 52 or equivalent pavement sealer. Sealer to be in slurry form with the addition of four (4) pounds of silica sand per one (1) gallon. The first coat to be applied by squeegee; the second coat to be applied by spray. Striping - General parking stalls shall be a minimum of nine (9') feet wide by eighteen (18') feet in length, handicapped parking stall shall comply with ADA standards, and all driving lanes/isles shall be a minimum of twenty-one (21') feet wide. All parking stall striping lines must be four (4") inches. The paint shall be a fast-drying, water-based, acrylic resin-type paint suitable for traffic-bearing surface and shall meet all appropriate sections of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction and shall be mixed in accordance with manufacturer's instructions before application.
