A. Ground Maintenance and Area Clean Up 1. The Successful Bidder shall furnish, as ordered and requested in writing by the Airport Representative, all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor and supervision necessary to mow and trim all grass as well as to properly remove and dispose of all garbage, debris and trash, including without limitation, tire rims and tires on land currently owned or acquired by the City during the term of the Agreement. (See Appendix C and Appendix D.) 2. The property on which Ground Maintenance and Area Clean-up Services will be performed consists of “vacant acreage”, approximately 500 acres of land, more-or-less, non-continuous. NOTE: The map (See Exhibit G) shows the general lay out of the areas in which the Successful Bidder can expect to provide the Ground Maintenance & Area Clean-up Services as ordered and requested by the City. The specific locations will be designated in writing by the Airport Representative periodically throughout the term of the Agreement (See Appendix A, Section 32 entitled “Map”). 3. Lawn areas must be maintained at a minimum height of three (3) inches and not to exceed (10) inches. A general clean-up of trash and other debris will be performed as necessary. 4. The Successful Bidder shall collect, haul and properly dispose of all garbage, debris, and trash on land owned by the City, in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as requested and designated by the Airport Representative in writing. 5. The Successful Bidder must collect, haul and properly dispose of abandoned vehicle tires and rims on land owned by the City. The Successful Bidder will perform these services, to those tires with rims in addition to those without rims, as requested and designated by the Airport Representative in writing, in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. (See Appendix D.) B. Tree Removal Subject to and in accordance with the Provisions of the Agreement, the Successful Bidder will perform the following Tree Cutting & Removal Services as requested and ordered in writing by the Airport Representative (see Appendix D): 1. The Successful Bidder will furnish all supervision, labor, supplies, tools, materials, equipment and services necessary to cut and remove various trees and stumps located on property owned by the City. 2. The Successful Bidder will furnish all supervision, labor, supplies, tools, materials, equipment, and services necessary to remove underbrush and foliage located on property owned by the City utilizing no less than a two man crew. 3. All stumps and exposed roots must be removed by the Successful Bidder at least eight (8) inches below ground level unless otherwise directed in writing by the Airport Representative. NOTE: The map (See Exhibit G) shows the general layout of the areas in which the Successful Bidder can expect to provide the tree cutting and removal services as ordered and requested by the City. The specific locations will be designated in writing by the Airport Representative periodically throughout the term of the Agreement (See Appendix A, Section 32 entitled “Map”).
