The Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) is requesting to purchase two (2) VC-Gene-Up System Instruments with BMX PC and Reagents/Assays including Connection Service Customer Remote Solution Support and two (2) Gene Up Full Service Agreements (60 months) from BioMérieux, Inc. Biomerieux, Inc. is the sole source manufacturer, supplier and service provider of the GENE-UP® Instruments, software (specific to the instruments), reagents, industry exclusive assays, and ancillary items. The Gene-Up Instruments are the only rapid molecular pathogen detection system that is able to perform testing using PCR on both cannabis and hemp samples and combine both Stec and Salmonella under one platform as well as Aspergillus.
