The Department of Social Services (DSS) has contract CS201200004 with Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City dba Crittenton Children’s Center for Foster Care Case Management. Due to the DSS diligently working on significant revisions to contract requirements for the new RFP that will replace the existing contracts, the DSS requires additional bid lead time to ensure the new contract requirements will effectively fulfill the DSS purpose of executing the Foster Care Case Management services. It is imperative that contract CS201200004 continue providing Foster Care Case Management services. The one-year extension of CS201200004 will allow sufficient time for the DSS to revamp the Foster Care Case Management requirements. For the reasons identified above, Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City dba Crittenton Children’s Center is the only feasible source from which to acquire the Foster Care Case Management services. As a result, this meets the criteria as a single feasible source under section 34.044 RSMo. Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification.
