1. Provide all materials, labor, tools, and equipment to replace carpet in the Rock Road Branch in accordance with the attached documents: a. Sheets A2.501 and AD2.201, included as Appendix A. 2. Contractor is responsible for all field measurements and the quality of the final fit of the install. 3. Contractor is responsible for all Permits and Inspections. 4. All work shall be coordinated with the Library’s Manager of Building Systems. 5. Work may begin as early as 6:00am Monday - Friday. 6. Library will remain open to the public during carpet replacement and installation. Contractor will provide safety barricades and signage as needed to ensure the safety of patrons and staff. 7. Provide labor to remove existing flooring and base as noted in the drawings. 8. Haul off and appropriately dispose off-site all removed material. 9. Library staff will be responsible for moving all furniture required for the work. In some larger areas the bookshelves may be removed in sections. 10. Work shall be performed with standard care and in a professional, workmanlike manner. 11. A post-selection coordination meeting will be held to discuss project schedule and sequencing. 12. The Library is a tax-exempt organization. A tax certificate will be provided to the selected Bidder. 13. Library Branches are St. Louis County election sites. Special considerations may apply on election days (November 5, 2025). Coordinate with Building Systems Manager.
