Barbed-Wire Perimeter Fences • All perimeter fences must meet the minimum standard for Missouri's fencing law • Shall include no less than 5 strands of barbed wire • Top strand shall be at least 48" tall, 10" between strands. • All t-posts shall be driven until at least deep enough to where the "spade" is below the surface of the soil • T-Posts will be set 12' apart • Every 20th T-Post there will be a line post set • All pipes used to make a H-brace shall be welded together by the contractor • All metal corner posts, H-Braces and line posts shall be driven in the ground no less than 3ft deep • All hedge corner posts, H-Braces, and line posts shall be set in a hole no less than 3ft deep and a minimum of 2 bags of concrete will used for each hole • All metal Corner, H-Brace and line posts will have metal rain caps welded on the top of them (welding performed by the contractor) Gates and Water Gaps • All gates shall be hung so that they swing freely and do not come in contact with the ground • The water gap shall be constructed so that high flows of water and debris can pass underneath the gap and when water recedes the gap will return to normal • All walk-through gates shall be installed
