A. FEMA Public Assistance Services – General Support 1. Provide knowledge, experience, and technical competence in dealing with Federal regulations. 2. Meet as requested with SEMA and FEMA representatives in connection with programmatic, financial, contracting, eligibility, process and compliance issues. B. Damage Assessment and Damage Inventory 1. Assist with identification and reporting of eligible costs/damages to FEMA, including damage assessments and the Damage Inventory to be submitted to FEMA by September 28, 2025. C. Financial/Grants Management Support 1. Advise on FEMA’s regulation and policy on tracking costs, including Category Z direct administrative costs, and facilitate reimbursement for all eligible costs. 2. Assist in compiling and summarizing Categories A through G and Z costs and preparing supporting documentation for submission to FEMA and the State. Many departments will be involved in this financial recovery effort, but critical departments requiring more immediate support will be: Parks, Recreation, and Forestry Streets Departments: Streets Division, Traffic & Lighting Division, Refuse Division.
